Intelligent Automation Consultant

One consultant accountable for the whole automation stack — process design, integration, AI and measurement.

Intelligent automation is the combination of three things that are usually bought separately: deterministic rules and integration for the predictable steps, machine learning or language models for the steps that require interpretation, and process redesign so neither is applied to work that should not exist. Buying them separately is what produces the familiar outcome — an integration project, a pilot model and a consulting deck that never meet. As an intelligent automation consultant our mandate covers all three under one accountability. We assess the process, decide per step which mechanism applies, build the flow with review points where the error cost is high, and instrument it so the saved hours and the error rate are visible in a dashboard rather than a status meeting. Where a step is genuinely better handled by a person, we say so and leave it alone.

FAQ

What does an intelligent automation consultant do?

They combine process redesign, system integration and AI models into a single automated flow, deciding step by step which mechanism is appropriate and proving the result with measurement.

Is intelligent automation the same as RPA?

No. RPA replays clicks on a screen. Intelligent automation prefers real integrations and adds AI only where interpretation is required, which is why it survives interface changes that break RPA scripts.

Can you work alongside our internal IT team?

Yes. In most engagements internal IT owns the environment and access while we own the process design and the build, with a documented handover at the end.

Where do you start?

With a fixed-fee assessment of the processes carrying the most manual hours, followed by one implementation phase scoped to prove the return.
