How Synapz collects, uses and protects personal data on this website.

1. Controller

Synapz is responsible for the processing of personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at contact@synapz.ca or +1 (581) 991-9660 for any question or request concerning your data.

2. Data we collect

Contact form: when you submit the form on our contact page, we process the name, email address, company name (optional) and the message you provide.

Technical data: our hosting provider automatically processes technical connection data such as IP address, browser type, referring page and timestamp in server logs, for security and to deliver the site.

We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell personal data.

3. Purposes and legal basis

We process contact form data to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare or perform a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

We process technical log data on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Hosting (Vercel)

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. Vercel processes connection data on our behalf as a processor in order to deliver the site and protect it against attacks. Transfers to the United States are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

5. Domain and DNS (GoDaddy)

Our domain is registered with GoDaddy Operating Company, LLC, 2155 E GoDaddy Way, Tempe, AZ 85284, USA, which also operates the DNS records used to reach this site. GoDaddy may process technical data related to domain resolution and, where applicable, email routing.

6. Contact form delivery

Messages sent through the contact form are transmitted by email through our email delivery provider (Resend) to our internal mailbox. The content of your message and your contact details are only used to respond to your enquiry.

7. Retention

Contact enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and for up to 24 months afterwards for follow-up and documentation purposes, unless a longer legal retention period applies. Server logs are kept for a short period only.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, write to contact@synapz.ca.

9. Security

The site is served exclusively over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to submitted data is limited to team members who need it to answer your request.

10. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our services or legal obligations. The current version is always published on this page.
